Our company was established in October of 1997 as a full Stump-to-Mill Contractor, and we've become one of  Chapleau's largest employers.  Our corporation prides itself on a reputation for safety, sound business management, and success.  We have established an excellent safety record; being OFSWA (Ontario Forestry Safe Workplace Association) and SWO (Safe Workplace Ontario) Certified annually.  We ranked first out of 156 Ontario logging companies and won the 2005 Annual District Health & Safety Achievement Award .  Our successes are made possible by a cooperative dedication and perseverance between management and each sub-contractor and employee of True North Timber.  This teamwork is what has molded our corporation into what exists today.  We are an innovative group working in a very challenging environment.  These challenges are what make our jobs interesting, but overcoming them is what makes our work meaningful.
